In the 2016 edition one of the project’s cells was the urban decor that was developed ad hoc for the city, generating a strong emotional impact. The goal – supported by the charm of the city of Venice – is to make the Christmas public live in its magic, spirituality and authenticity.
In Venice you walk around amongst calli, campielli and navigate the channels, the Channels are our streets and we also put the lights there, so that they can play with the tides, reflect and give a unique emotion. A gondola ride between those lights will be wonderful, it will be a unique experience.
In the 2017 edition, the Lighting ART & DESIGN project also involves internationally renowned artists who have created Christmas Artworks for My Christmas Venice. The works will be placed in significant locations, a Museum under the Stars, creating a wonderful artistic itinerary. Try it and let yourself be excited.
The goal is to create a high level artistic event that becomes a Venetian annual event, starting with a first edition of great artistic value.
